How the company started
YODiM came out of a real installation: several Denon and Marantz receivers spread through a house, and as many remotes and apps to make them work together. None of the existing tools showed the true state of the system, or let it be driven from one place.
The product was built against that hardware, piece by piece, by measuring what each device actually answers rather than trusting the documentation. The company was incorporated in 2026, once the application was ready to publish.
How we are organised
The company is small and owns it: one person designs, writes and supports the product. No sales team, no outsourcing, no middle layer. A support email reaches the person who wrote the code. What it costs: fewer hands. What it gives: a fix can ship the same day.
Where we are going
The road ahead is three things: cover more receiver models, as users report them; publish on iOS after Android; and keep reducing the network traffic the app asks of the devices. No dates are announced — what ships, ships once it is measured.
